Stop Selling, Start Story Selling Tony Chapman |
A cultural shift is happening that is and will continue to impact the Independent Grocers Top and Bottom Line. Restaurants are taking a massive bite out of Canadians food budget, while Convenience, Drug and Mass are eating into their Grocery Budget. Millennials are at the wheel of this shift, and last year they surpassed the Boomer in both size and spending power, and they are driving the behaviour of older and younger generations.
Our future depends on winning over this cohort.
Tony Chapman is our opening Keynote presenter. He is always provocative and persuasive. Tony spent 30 years engaging the Millennials 'head, heart and hands' and today he speaks his mind at Conferences, Board Retreats and in the Media. You can count on Tony to do a deep dive into the dynamics of our marketplace and to then tell it like it is.
He has insights, ideas and answers for Independent Grocers that begin by having us become an enabler, not merely a provider of food to Millennials and their love of food. We need to play a role in their story that involves preparation, conversation, socialization, experimentation and self-actualization.
We need to Stop Selling and Start Storytelling. A not to be missed kickoff to our Conference.
