The crowd of customers Colemans At The Gardens for its multicultural event.
Corner Brook, N.L.–Customers were treated to international cuisine from around the world when Bill Skeard, Store Manager and his team hosted the Gardens fifth annual Multiculturalism Day.
The Gardens partnered with the International Student Services Coordinator, Shaunda Williams to bring international students and their countries local dishes to the Gardens. Colemans provided the ingredients and venue.
The event took place March 19, from 4 – 5 pm, giving customers an opportunity to meet international students, taste prepared foods from different parts of the world, and take recipes home with them. The students enjoyed it because they promote their home countries and meet new people from the area.
Customers sampled flavors from Guatemala, Belize, Bahamas and this year we added Newfoundland Seal Meat served by a student from Nain Labrador.
