When it comes to the Pacific region, British Columbia’s Save-On-Foods beat out Wal-Mart as the supermarket brand Canadians trust, according to a new survey.
The survey released today by the Peter B. Gustavson School of Business at the University of Victoria sample 3,125 Canadian consumers. They ranked 249 brands in 22 industries, said a Globe and Mail report.
Researchers found that consumers trust on two different levels: functional and emotional.
Brands were ranked nationally as well, the survey also produced results by industry, region and demographics.
