King, Ontario–Yesterday at Cardinal Golf Club, Vince’s Market announced to a packed room of 150 stakeholders, that they will be opening their fourth location in Tottenham in the fall of 2016.
After two years of investing in company infrastructure and team building, the family owned and operated chain of specialty grocery stores is looking forward to taking their next step.
“Our new location will be a 12,500 sq. ft. fresh food experience, in a multipurpose plaza which will compliment the existing offering that includes the LCBO, The Beer Store, CIBC, and more,” said Partner, Giancarlo Trimarchi. Vince’s Market will be completely re-building the vacant unit located at 55 Queen Street South. Taking their design cue from the recent Newmarket location renovation, the Vince’s Team is hoping to provide a convenient and accessible destination to residents for their quality food needs (see artist’s rendering at left).
“We are thrilled to have an opportunity to serve a neighbourhood that shares similar demographic characteristics as our existing stores,” noted Trimarchi. “We are looking forward to truly becoming a member of the community, as we have been able to accomplish in our other three locations.”
Vince’s Market is a nationally recognized and award winning, small surface grocery store that focuses on fresh departments within their marketplace. This privately held company employs 300 people in York and Durham Regions, while serving the communities of Sharon, Newmarket and Uxbridge. Last year, their Newmarket location was awarded 2nd place in the Small Surface category in the country, from the Canadian Federation of Independent Grocers.
