The Food-Link Fund will invest in food terminals and food hubs to strengthen competition and improve Canada’s food distribution network by investing in critical infrastructure that will help food move more efficiently from producers to consumers and give Canadians better access to affordable, locally produced food across the country.
The first intake of the Food-Link Fund will open on October 14 and offers support under 2 streams:
- the Food Terminal Fund, administered by Housing Infrastructure and Communities Canada (HICC)
- the Food Hub Program, administered by Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC)
The intake will be open from October 14, 2026 to December 11, 2026.
