On Wednesday March 4, the Longo’s family along with Mississauga Mayor Bonnie Crombie, and store manager Luis Caetano, welcomed the community to the grand opening of the new Longo’s store in Applewood Village, 1125 North Service Road. This will be the fourth Longo’s location in Mississauga.

The Applewood Village Plaza location will also house a full service Starbucks coffee shop and a Loft Cooking School on the upper level. The Loft will offer a wide variety of specialty cooking classes for community members of all ages and skill levels.
The grand opening, beginning on Wednesday March 4th at 8 a.m., will include welcoming remarks from Rosanne Longo and Anthony Longo, as well as the ceremonial biting of the apple with Mayor Bonnie Crombie. Shoppers and community members are invited to participate in special food celebrations including the cutting of the grand opening cake, a six-foot Bento sushi roll and food samplings throughout the entire store.
