Top 10 in Grocery

April 14, 2025, VANCOUVER, B.C.— Today was Day 1 of The Grocery & Specialty Food West 2025 conference and trade show – a 2-day event filled with informative keynotes, innovative technologies and a wide array of new products that will soon make it to the grocery stores.

Day 1 began with the MORNING CONFERENCE at the Vancouver Convention Centre, East Building. Ron Welke, President and CEO of CFIG delivered welcome remarks, followed by “10 ways AI will Transform Grocery & Food”, an Exclusive IGD research report that was delivered by Stewart Samuel of IGD. At 10:00AM, there was an exclusive session with Canada’s first Grocery Code Adjudicator, Karen Proud with Q&A moderated by Gary Sands of CFIG.

The trade show floor officially opened its doors at 11:00AM with a ceremonial ribbon cutting and attendees were eager to check out the wide range of products and booths in Halls A, B and C.
