Stong’s Market will be opening a second store in North Vancouver early in 2016.
The 20,000-sq.-ft. store will be the first new location for the grocer in 26 years.
Cori Bonina, Stong’s owner, and fourth-generation grocer, made the announcement at a March 31 groundbreaking in Northwoods Village.
Bonina added in a report, that her grocery store on Dunbar Street will be moving from its current location, occupied for decades, into larger premises just a few blocks up the street.
The move will happen March 31, 2016 and the store’s size will increase 6,000 sq. ft. to 20,000 sq. ft.
