TORONTO, May 4, 2015—Longo’s and Nutella® are joining forces with the introduction of the Nutella Crêperie at Longo’s. The first of its kind in Canada, the pop-up crêpe kitchen will travel to Longo’s stores across the GTA, offering shoppers the opportunity to purchase warm crêpes with Nutella®, made fresh to order.
The collaboration was a natural one for Longo’s given that the family-owned and operated grocery chain and Ferrero Canada have a shared Italian heritage, as well as a long-standing, collaborative relationship. The first stop on the Nutella Crêperie by Longo’s tour is at the Longo’s Maple Leaf Square store on May 7, 2015. The full tour schedule is available here.
On May 7th from 2-4pm, media are invited to experience the collaboration first-hand at the Maple Leaf Square location and add a little joy to their day with a crêpe hand-made by an experienced chef. Rosanne Longo, Longo’s Brand Ambassador and longtime Nutella® lover, will be on-site at the event to help distribute crepes. She’s also available for interviews leading up to the launch of the tour.
The upcoming launch of the Nutella Crêperie tour comes just days before Mother’s Day on May 10th. Families can spoil Mom at home with breakfast in bed with some specially crafted Nutella® recipes that are sure to make her feel loved and appreciated on her special day.
