The information notice and order form below, provided by the BC Food & Beverage Association, is one that CFIG is pleased to put before our members. CFIG has no financial interest in this program. It was partially funded by governments in order that it can ensure small businesses in particular, who do not have the leverage of large chains (who cannot access the program) have an opportunity to order PPE equipment for their employees.
If members can access quality PPE at lower prices and with low minimum order (one case) requirements from other sources, then they should do so. But CFIG is always supportive of every opportunity to provide additional options for our members.
Protecting Our People Program
The simple ordering system requires companies to register an account using your Company name, email address and creating a password which allows us to confirm that orders are for companies in the food supply chain. A User Guide has also been created for the ordering system with step by step instructions if required. Low order minimums are set up to ensure that small businesses will be able to order smaller quantities at competitive prices.
CFIG is supportive of this initiative as it can address the shortfall in accessing PPE that many of our members have encountered over the last few months.
