The government’s efforts to get the first vaccine are in full swing. As of May 25, 65% of Toronto adults have completed their first vaccination. Businesses keep up with the government’s measures.
Galleria Supermarket (CEO Jeffrey Min) encourages employees to vaccinate by promptly sharing information about vaccination centres and applying for vaccination benefits according to government guidelines under the motto of “safe workplace for employees and reliable shopping space for customers.”
As a result, most Galleria Supermarket employees had their first shot of the vaccine, a vaccination rate of 95% at Thornhill store and 87% at the York Mills store. 86% of all employees completed the first round of vaccinations.
In related progress, CEO Jeffrey Min said, “It seems like the end of the dark tunnel is seen in the long fight against COVID-19, but now is the time to be more careful,” emphasizing its importance of vaccination internally. “We will provide safer workplaces for employees and place customers can shop with confidence.”
