Can I register now?

Yes! As the only grocery shows in Canada, exhibiting at Grocery Innovations Canada and Grocery Specialty Food West is the summit where all facets of the grocery industry gather annually to grow their business, including distributors, manufacturers, brokers, retailers, and franchisees.

Is this show just for large manufacturers?

Absolutely not. Retailers are looking for all companies involved in the grocery industry to be represented on the floor. From food manufacturers to service providers to financial advisors, all of you deserve to be in the spotlight and showcase your services and products to thousands of retailers.

Who attends this event?

This event is a business-to-business trade show only! As such, you can expect to see franchised and independent grocers, c-store, variety, drug, warehouse club / mass market retailers, suppliers, distributors / wholesalers to all be walking the show at GIC. Can I sell my products at this show?

Yes! As exhibitors, we encourage you to create “Show Specials” and promotions and to market them on the floor! There is no better way to attract attention and retailers to your booth!

Can I cook my product and sample at this event?

Yes! All cooking and sampling is encouraged and will definitely give retailers and attendees a deeper understanding of your products and will also encourage meaningful conversations!

Will I meet Owners/Operators, grocery industry insiders and decision makers at GIC?

Yes. At GIC you can expect to meet Owners, VPs, Sr. Category Managers, Merchandising Directors, Marketing Managers, Store Planners, and more. There is no question that you will be meeting with high-quality retailers who have a genuine interest in what you have to offer.

What is included in my booth space?

Each 100 sq. ft. booth will have the following included:

  • 8’ x 3’ side drape (black)
  • Free complimentary listing in the official printed Show Directory
  • Exhibitor E-News Updates
  • 5 Complementary exhibitor badges (per 100 sq. ft.)
  • 6 Complementary trade show passes
  • Material handling from dock to booth (and return)
  • Removal, storage, and return of exhibit crates
  • 24 Hour professional security
  • Complementary ice and clean up areas

Are there restrictions to booth height?

Yes. We want all our exhibitors to have an equal opportunity to be seen on the floor. Please refer to our guidelines (Coming Soon) for the size limitations on booth size. For further information, please contact info@cfig.ca for additional information.

Do I need insurance?

Yes, we require all our exhibitors to carry insurance from public and product liability, theft, property or personal damage/injury, and other loss or liability that may be connected with Grocery Innovations Canada.

What are the hours of the trade show?

Monday October 17 – 11:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Tuesday October 18 – 11:00 AM  to 4:00 PM

How can I be in the Top 10 Most Innovative Products Display?

All exhibitors at GIC 2016 will be eligible for the Top 10 Most Innovative Product award! Our top 10 winners are determined by a panel of judges on the first day of the show and are presented with the award on the second day. The selected winners have an opportunity to be recognized through media. More information to come!

When are the move in times (or move out times)?

Move-in and move-out times can be found here (Coming Soon). We operate on a last-in-first-out agenda.

Where can I find information about booth decor and electrical?

Booth décor and furnishing is provided by GES
Electrical is provided by the SHOWCARE (link to electrical order form)
