Joe Longo, Chair of Canadian Federation of Independent Grocers (CFIG), Thomas A. Barlow, President and CEO, and the CFIG Board of Directors are pleased to announce Mike Lovsin of Freson Bros. in Stony Plain, Alta., (pictured at right) as the 2015 recipient of CFIG’s prestigious Life Member Award in the Independent Grocer category; and Joe Weber, senior vice-president, retail sales at Saputo Canada, in the Industry Builder category.
Both Lovsin and Weber will receive their honours at the upcoming Grocery Innovations Canada show at the Canadian Independent Grocer of the Year awards on Tues. Sept. 29 at the Toronto Congress Centre-North Building.
