November 13, 2015 – Vancouver, B.C.– Save-On-Foods now proudly offers its online grocery shopping and delivery service to customers in the entire Metro Vancouver area with the launch of online shopping from the Tsawwassen Save-On-Foods.
The Tsawwassen store began taking orders for groceries online on Monday, November 9 for its first day of deliveries and in-store pickups on Tuesday, November 10.
Through the service, customers can browse all the same items they would find in store at saveonfoods.com or through the Shop Save-On-Foods smartphone app.
Once orders are placed, they are hand-picked by Save-On-Foods personal shoppers who pack them and ready them for home delivery or pickup at participating Save-On-Foods stores.
The store also opened its B.C. VQA wine section on November 13, offering customers shopping at the Tsawwassen location the added convenience of picking up a high-quality local bottle of wine at the same time as their groceries.
The store carries more than 900 varieties of wine that’s 100 per cent British Columbian as certified by the Vintners’ Quality Association. The wine comes from more than 150 wineries across the province.
“We are so excited to be able to offer our innovative online grocery shopping service to all of our customers in Vancouver,” said Save-On-Foods president Darrell Jones. “Our customers have told us they love the convenience of online grocery shopping and being able to pick up a nice bottle of wine right in the store, so we’re bringing them the services they want for unbeatable value.”
Online order delivery is also available to customers in the Fraser Valley and Victoria areas, with pickup at participating Save-On-Foods stores available to all customers with a Save-On-Foods account.
