May 13, 2016 – Vancouver, B.C. – The new Save-On-Foods at 3535 West 41st Avenue in Vancouver officially opened for business today, bringing fresh value to the grocery market in one of Vancouver’s busiest neighbourhoods.
The store was purchased from IGA in January along with two other locations, 4469 Kingsway Avenue in Burnaby and 2949 Willingdon Avenue in Vancouver, which opened at the end of April.
The Dunbar store required more extensive renovations before opening as a Save-On-Foods.
Now that the renovations are complete, all three stores are celebrating their grand opening Saturday with a giveaway of 500 gift cards at each store. Each card is loaded with a random value, and one lucky customer at each store will win a $500 gift card.
As Save-On-Foods, these stores offer the products, promotions and programs unique to Save-On-Foods, including the fast and convenient meal ideas of Talk about Fresh Solutions; the exciting new products of Talk about What’s New; and the steep savings on everyday favourites as part of the weekly Darrell’s Deals.
“This is an exciting day for Save-On-Foods, marking three new stores joining our family in some of Greater Vancouver’s busiest, most vibrant neighbourhoods,” said Save-On-Foods president Darrell Jones. “Our beautifully renovated stores offer unbeatable value, world-class customer service, and the most innovative programs on the market.”
