Michael-Angelo’s opened its new store on Bayview Avenue in Aurora, Ont., in September.
The store features a chef station where customers can enjoy ready-cooked meals; stone-baked pizza; a catering kiosk where customers can receive assistance with party planning needs; and a gelato bar. The store also offers certified dry aged beef that has been aged for 30, 45 or 60 days. The store is planning to eventually provide its cafe customers with beer and wine to go with their meals.
To show its commitment to the Aurora community, the grocer sold a gusto custom designed cookie for $2. A dollar from the sale was donated to Southlake Regional Health Centre’s pediatric program.
