JUNE 8 – Scholarship Awards deadline. Apply here. $18,000 in scholarship prizes – Applicants must be working for a current CFIG member (retail, associate, affiliate) or be a family member of an employee of a current CFIG member.

AUGUST 1 – GS1 Innovator’s Award deadline. Apply here. The Innovator’s Award will be presented to a CFIG member that demonstrates the principle of innovation through their actions and business activities. Applicants will be judged on the exciting and creative ways they have brought innovation to their business.

AUGUST 12 – Last chance to submit all materials for Master Merchandiser program. Apply here. Master Merchandiser Awards Program (MMAP) honours and recognizes best Point-of-Sale merchandising in the grocery industry. It enables retailer and supportive manufacturers the opportunity to stimulate purchase by building effective displays, promotions and events.
