Grocery Innovations Canada had a record attendance at this year’s show. With more than 110,000 sq-ft dedicated to all facets of the grocery business, it was truly a one-stop shop for retailers.
Keynote sessions from entrepreneur and CBC Dragon from Next Gen Den Michael Hyatt was a huge hit with his message of change is coming, evolve or die; along with Joan Driggs, Progressive Grocer; Joel Gregoire, Mintel; and Andrew Au, Intercept Group all showcasing how technology and digital transformation is affecting the business going forward.

The trade show featured new pavilions and expanded offerings from growing categories such as seasonal/garden; beer & wine; foodservice; regional (Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Quebec and Ontario) and international (Colombia, Peru, Chile and Mexico).
Also, there were educational sessions throughout the two days on the trade floor from Saputo, Redbud, Tree of Life, McCormick, CHEP, Korea Food Trading.
