Last year was filled with activities around advocacy for our members (credit card fees, consolidation, competition, and more), as well, we had a record year at our premier event in the fall, Grocery Innovations Canada.
SEE HIGHLIGHTS FROM GIC 2017
As we begin this year, CFIG will continue to ask for members support. In Ontario, we will ask members to contact their MPPs in regards to the minimum wage hike and its impact on their business; as well in the coming months, we ask for members to complete surveys on their energy usage. All of these measures will help us help you in your business.
This spring we encourage our western members to attend Grocery & Specialty Food West, as Finance Minister Bill Morneau will be speaking exclusively at our show. Along with Minister Morneau, there are workshops and sessions around technology, ecommerce, category insights and more so we hope our members bring their teams to the show.
