Colemans Purchases Iconic NL grocer Belbin’s

Colemans announced the purchase of Belbin’s Grocery. Belbin’s has been providing quality products and service for 75 years in St. John’s. The store was started by Robert George Belbin and sons in the front room of a family home.

Effective immediately, Colemans will retain Belbin’s staff, name and storefront on Quidi Vidi road.

“Since 1943, our wonderful staff has upheld the Belbin’s pledge to offer quality products with the friendliest, hassle-free service,” says Robert Belbin. “Our priority was to find a local successor with shared values and history that could carry on our traditions and commitment to exceptional customer experience and quality. For us, Colemans was a logical and excellent fit.”
