Exercise Your Right to Vote

As we all know, Monday, October 21^st is election day in Canada.    While Grocery Innovations Canada (GIC) begins on October 22^nd and 23^rd, it is very likely that many of our attendees will arrive on the Monday or be in transit from areas outside of Toronto.   CFIG wants all of our members to be able to exercise their democratic right to vote, a right that Canadians in the past have fought and died for.

So please, take advantage of the opportunity to vote in advance polls, which are open October 11^th, 12^th, 13^th and 14^th across the country.   Simply consult the Elections Canada website to find the local Elections Canada office in your riding.   Take your voter registration card with you or if you don’t have it, produce a piece of any government issued I.D, such as a drivers license, to be eligible to receive a ballot.
