Joyce: Gordon Simeon
Passed away at the Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital on Sunday September 22nd, 2019 in his 87th year. Gordon Joyce of Orillia beloved husband of Ilene. Dear father of Russell Joyce and Darlene Keddy (Kevin). Grandfather of Owen and Carson Keddy. Also lovingly remembered by Ilene’s family- Faye Richardson, Mark Richardson (Maria), Sharon Richardson and their children Michael, Carissa, Mark, Pateen and Jordan.
Gordon will be remembered as a founding member and the first Chair of the Associate Members Council of the Canadian Federation of Independent Grocers. He always showed a passion and collaborative desire to see the Independent Grocers across Canada succeed and grow along with all other members of the Federation.
Funeral Arrangements
Visitation will be held at the Simcoe Funeral Home 38 James Street East Orillia on Tuesday, October 1st from 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9 pm.
Funeral Services will be held at St. James Anglican Church 58 Peter Street North on Wednesday, October 2nd at 2 pm. Cremation to follow. Memorial donations to the Charity of Your Choice would be appreciated.
