Corner Brook, NL— Nov 30, 2017 — Coleman Group of Companies are proud to announce the Grand Opening of the Colemans Market located at 370 Newfoundland Drive. The Grand Opening will take place this weekend on December 2 & 3 and plans to be an exciting two day event filled with music and fun!
Aidan Coleman, a fourth generation Coleman who was the project leader, was very pleased with the soft opening back on October 23rd. The first thing customers notice upon entering this 35,000 sq.ft. store is a focus on fresh food. “This store came to life with a tremendous team effort and a “close to home” approach that we believe resonates with customers. We’re feeling really good about the future of our brand in this part of Newfoundland and Labrador” said Mike Coleman VP.
Customers are introduced to a very modern atmosphere with brightly lit wide aisles, large produce area and three food bars including a hot bar and a cold salad bar with over 70 different ingredients to choose from. The one-of-a-kind Bakery offers a unique variety of Artisan Breads along with Coleman’s famous homemade bread. The meat and seafood departments offer a wide variety of Canadian beef and wild-caught seafood products as well as an amazing variety of ready-to-cook meals and in-store-made sausages.
This location includes an NLC liquor express store featuring wine, beer and spirits, as well a boutique Arthur James Clothing Store specializing in outdoor wear. Pick up a bouquet of flowers from the in store floral department or try fresh hand rolled sushi before you choose from a fine selection of imported British chocolates.
Store manager Bethany Roberts was involved in the selection of a fine group of over 100 enthusiastic people to staff the store and they were quite happy with the first month of operation.
Colemans’ hallmark friendly service combined with a ‘focus on fresh’ has received positive praise from welcoming customers.
Coleman Group of Companies commitment to deliver the latest products along with superior customer service is the promise to this busy east end neighborhood. Since Arthur James Coleman opened the first grocery store in 1934, in Corner Brook, Colemans, a family-owned and operated company has made a conscious decision to further invest in the neighborhoods across the province.
